| Ah... Dragon Quest. Brought over
as Dragon Warrior in the states, it is, perhaps,
the ultimate Japanese-style console RPG. With
character designs by Akira Toriyama, of Dragon
Ball fame, and with story by Yuji Houri, Dragon
Quest was practically guaranteed success in Japan.
A DraQue release is, perhaps, one of the most
anticipated events in all of Japan. They'll only
release new games on weekends or holidays, after
an astounding number of people skipped school (and
work) to get their hands on it... Of course, there's more to DraQue than excessive random battles on old-school gameplay! There's also chicks! Many of whom don't even look like Dragon Ball characters. *coughs* Throughout the series, there's been a number of women characters, from the helpless damsel Lora, to the powerful sorceress Barbara. Alas, I know almost nothing about DQ7, so its female cast will have to wait for coverage... In any case, enjoy the galleries here, and what meager information I can provide!
